An exquisite Riviera diamond necklace from the Edwardian(ca1910) era!?Made of 18k white and yellow gold, this beautiful necklace has 77?graduating old mine cut?diamonds which are set within white gold box bead settings. The diamonds are hinged together by small yellow gold jump rings, allowing for beautiful movement when worn, and the yellow gold push clasp of the necklace is hidden within a three of the diamond links, secured by a figure-eight safety catch.?The diamonds have a have I-K?color range, VS2-I1?clarity range and an overall total approximate diamond weight of 20.53ctw, with the largest stone weighing approximately 0.70ct and the smallest weighing 0.13ct. The clasp and one of the links are marked with French hallmarks. This amazing necklace was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in February?2024,?and has a stated retail replacement value of $40,000.00. Measurements: The necklace measures 15 3/4" long and graduates from just over 1/8" wide at the clasp to 1/4" at the front.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold?settings or to the diamonds, all of which are intact. The push clasp and safety catch are both?secure and in good working condition.?
